Blue Platter Saturday: wearables
Blue Platter Saturdays are events that CUCFL puts together as workshops for experimenting with new processes or materials.
The first one will be October 8th form 9 am to 12 pm.
The theme for the first Blue Platter Saturday is wearables, we are going to order sample fabrics from Inventables.com and will let people experiment with them. Since the materials we buy are samples, usually 1yrd by a few ft in size, we encourage people to bring their own fabric or wearable item to supplement their design idea. Be creative with what you bring, hats, bags, accessories, etc.
The maximum number of people for the workshop is 15 and there is a $30 fee that covers samples, use of the fab lab equipment, coffee and fun.
