Closing the Lab – A Check List:

ž      Give everyone 15 minutes notice

ž      Make sure all projects are complete or appropriately saved or stored

ž      Turn off all computers (shutting down windows, pressing the “on/off” buttons, and turning on power strips)

ž      Turn off the laser cutter and the associated computer

ž      Turn off the vinyl cutter and the associated computer

ž      Turn off the network video web cam (when that is up and running)

ž      Shut off coffee maker and put away food

ž      Secure and log any valuables or monies that may have come for supplies/materials

ž      Clean out the garbage and take to dumpster and replace plastic bag

ž      Check to make sure doors are closed and locked where appropriate

ž      Turn off lights
