Materials
Acrylic or Wood, find a piece slightly larger than you want your ruler to be (default size
of template is 6.501in by 1.001 in).
Ruler Template svg file.

Instructions
Go ahead and launch Inkscape from the desktop or start menu.

Open the ruler_template.svg file (attachment below).

Advanced - Engrave an alumninum waterbottle

1)      Have your design ready and saved as a .pdf file type.

2)      Press the FOCUS button on the Epilog laser cutter and press the DOWN button to lower the laser bed all the way to the bottom.

3)      TURN THE EPILOG LASER CUTTER OFF! The switch is located on the left near the back.

4)      Remove the grating and the central cross support.

5)      Place the rotary adaptor into the bottom of the laser cutter. Make sure it is set into the holes.

Cutting a part of a path off

ISSUE: a thick piece of plywood or another material cuts through in most places, but one or two spots only cuts *most* of the way through.

One possible SOLUTION:

            - Get rid of all of the design except the part of the path that you want to cut again.
